Yes, you definitely want to keep it winterized while storing. We are 250 miles south of Myrtle Beach and we got down to 26 degrees last night. If you are camping in it and using the heater (electric or propane), then it would be safe to de-winterize it.
As for places to stay until 2/9, there are plenty of places to stay in southeast Georgia. There are several decent campgrounds in Brunswick, GA alone. However, since we moved here back in 2006, February is usually our coldest month of the year. Last year we had a few nights in the upper teens. That is a little colder than usual, but low to mid 20s are not unusual in February.
There are lots of nice places to stay in and around Jacksonville, FL and St. Augustine, FL, however this time of year it might be hard to find a site.
