In the article referenced in this thread, "Stephanie Wissman, Executive Director of the Associated Petroleum Industries of Pennsylvania (API-PA), told Media Trackers that API-PA could not say for certain if the 28 cents would be passed on to the consumer." Stephanie should come up to NYS and buy a case of Pepsi or Coke. Just the fact that NYS is a bottle deposit state adds a $1 to the case of the soda over what it is priced in Pennsylvania, and that is before the deposit. Don't worry Stephanie, the refineries will pass the cost along, just like the grocery stores up here do.
