I'll cut to the chase.
The only way to avoid the issues mentioned is to camp alone.
If you are camping around others you will have to tolerate some behavior you don't like.
Such as opening or closing the RV door or using the factory installed lights.
If you let these minor annoyances ruin your camping experience shame on you.....and yes as already mentioned in the opening post, the OP sounds like an old grouch,
I hear you guys, I'm not a pro lights camper. But try telling someone
with a new RV they can't use the factory lights on their new RV.
