Pictures on forum?

I have only been on this forum for a short time. noticed that some folks have a photo of their rig or a map showing the states they have been in on the bottom of posts they do. HOW DO YOU DO THAT. I have looked at several places on the forum but evidently these old eyes can't find it. Any help?

It's not just kb, but physical dimensions..as I remember no larger than 180 wide and 90 high..
It's stated in the instructions someplace

Got it thanks had to cut it down to 13KB to get it on, but it is on.

Found the entry, but now no matter how small I make the picture it rejects it with the following message


The following problems were encountered while processing your request: > Your photo exceeds the 30KB limit. Please resize and try again.


My photo is 29.0K bytes but it will not take it. What?

Thanks for the information and link. But under My Preferences there is no place to put a signature or picture when I go there. Could it be that I have to have more posts or be on the forum longer before I can do that? I am on a BMW forum and that was the rule there. Any idea?

Upper right click on "My Forums" then click on "My Preferences"

From there you can add signature information & a photo.
