Plastic Leveling Blocks

Can not beat good old fashioned god given WOOD! Plentiful and flexible, most ALL lumber stores have scrap pieces that they will give you!! Just ask at the lumber counter,,WE have a Redwood Lumber yard close to us,, i was purchasing some fencing and mentioned I could use a few small 2x10 or 2x8's, The lumber guy asked how long,, I said 24" to 36", told me I could have anything I found in there scrap bin next to there cut saw,,, I have enough for myself and a buddy... Doesn't hurt to ask!!

P.S.we happened to buy wood from a camp host,,it was damp wood and hard to start,, I sacrificed a few on my 2x10 levelers and got a good fire going!!

Did you use the Lynx Levelers? I have used mine in gravel almost every time I have setup for the last few years and there is no damage to them.

Mine are and the same thing happened to me on my Alaska trip this summer. Luckily I was camped in a friend's backyard and I just borrowed some good wooden blocks from his workshop.

Wood blocks have worked very well for me also.

Just go with Anderson Levelers easiest way to level and will not break and no splinters or broke boards

I used half inch all weather plywood on the bottom of my blocks. Three sides of the plywood are the same size of the block, on the front end, I cut the plywood an inch longer to help with tire feed. Make sure the plywood sits flush with the rear of the block or the next block above will not fit. The plywood is only used on 4 of the blocks.

Yes I know how they work.

10"X10" plywood squares in various thickness work great.

Gave the Lynx block away that came with my last RV along with the kingpin tripod.

The palastick leveling blocks are great as long as the temperature is not cold, when they get cold they get very brittle and brake into pieces, we went up to Mount San Jacinto and camped for Christmass during the night as the temperature droped so did the RV most anoing night.

Next day I found some rocks and re leveled the RV, when we left I spent more than one hour removing small pieces of yellow plastic, now I use a couple of aluminum curved wedges made for changing tires on trailers, but only for small times on the road.
