Pleasant View Campground, Van Buren OH

Anyone stayed in this CG recently? Most recent review I found was negative and previous reviews were mixed. Will be in this area later this summer and was hoping this might be a good place to stay. Appreciate any feedback or suggestions for other CG in area. Thanks.
  • We never stayed there, but it would not be my choice. Where are you going? Overnight stop? Weekend? Family? Be specific and I can help you with a better choice (Maybe)

We will be attending the Tractor Pull in Bowling Green, OH - staying for about 6 nights in the area. While there we want to take in any points of interest that may be considered for "day trips", as well. We are a senior couple and would appreciate any input. Thanks for your response.

May not be fancy but it's right there in Bowling Green. Never been there.

If you look at the satellite map it's by US-6 sites around a "lake". But it is near you event and cheaper. Last Year's Rate: $27 to $32

  • I stayed in the campground last November for three day. I have stayed a total of four times and found the campground nice for a business trip, but not much for a vacation. I have to be careful entering and leaving due to the size of the coach. The sites were level, a bit muddy during a rain. The staff was friendly. I would stay again. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the info - we would be mostly just sleeping there as we will be attending the Tractor Pull in Bowling Green during the day and evening performances. Not really looking for a lot of amenities - just safe, clean environment.
