pontoon

Ok I have a 38 foot hornet which we have on a seasonal lot. which I love. But we are in the shade, and the rubber roof is so gray. Is there any way to get rid of this. Also bought a used pontoon. Do not know where to go with this question. How do I get rid of the gray mold color on the vinyl seats.? It looks like it is embedded. they are supposed to be off white and look gray with spots. actually it looks like my rubber roof. any thoughts would be appreciated!
  • For the boat seats try a product called starbright mildew stain remover. Apply and let stand for a few minutes then wipe off a soft bristle brush helps.
  • Try Thetford rubber roof cleaner. Thetford awning cleaner should help the boat seats.
  • I use gojo white paste hand cleaner on my pontoon seats. You may need something else first if they are in bad shape.
  • Used Clorox® Clean-up® Cleaner + Bleach on the my old pontoon seats - works great. Go slow with a good brush and don't leave it on long...maybe 3-5 minutes and rinse well. Repeat as needed. Bleach has a tendency to break down the stitches.
