Portable Washer & Dryer?

I live in the upstairs part of my hi ranch. Her parents used to live downstairs. Both levels of the house have their own bedrooms, bathrooms, living rooms and kitchen. They are basically two separate apartments.

I am still living in the house but I will be renting out the downstairs apartment. The only problem is that my washer/dryer are downstairs so I don't have access to them anymore once the tenants move in.

With that said, does anyone have any experience with portable washers and dryers. I'm a single guy so it's not like I'd be doing a ton of laundry. I figured an RV board was a great place to answer my question.

I googled "apartment washers/dryers" but didn't see any like I used to have. Small electric dryer mounted on a stand and a washer on wheels that stored under the dryer when not in use and rolled to the kitchen sink and attached to the faucet for washing. That way, the wash water and rinse water was pumped into the sink, but it tied up the kitchen faucet.
I continued to use them after I moved into my sticks and bricks with its own laundry room. I eventually replaced them with a regular washer and a dryer that ran on 240V. The apartment W/D ran on a 120V outlet and it took a long time to dry a load.

I've been looking at amazon and found a bunch of them but I'm sure there are some RV'ers that use these type of machines at the CG's.
