Potential mouse problem

Try this;

Get one of those vinyl covered foam "kneel on" garden pads. Cut it to fit the base of the docking station area and then poke however many holes you need for water, cable etc in the foam. It will stretch around the hoses etc. and give you a nice tight seal to keep out bugs, cold etc.

You can also buy metal cuffs that are used around the bases of steam radiators. Has the added benefit of not being chewable by rodents.

X2. You can also use brass wool which doesn't cause rust staining in damp environments like steel wool sometimes does.

I don't know how that unit is built but usually, there are rubber pieces in the space that make your hose tight. The same goes for the electric cord. Or, put your hose through and get some steel wool to tuck in the open space. Our sewer hose went through a opening from the heated wet bay down through the floor to exit and we bought one of those rubber sewer donuts, cut in in half and once the sewer hose was through the hole, the rubber donut fit tight in the open space.

In ours, the hole is only big enough for the hose. No room for a mouse to get in.
