Primus brake controller

Hello I just purchased a primus brake controller (had it installed) and on my trip this weekend as driving I noticed it in .C mode then I'd stop then it shows numbers that appear. When I start moving again, as I accelerate, it never returns back to .c. The numbers sometimes look like they are increasing with speed. Are my trailer brakes activated? Am I dragging? What should be displayed while driving (not braking) same would apply to a prodigy P2 or P3 (same company)

The numbers indicate that power is being applied to the brakes.

If this happens while driving you have an issue with the controller or the installation.
