Just think about this point. In todays lawyer lawsuit driven world. Don't you think if there was a real possibility of something happening there wood be huge warning labels on the refrigerator or other propane devises. Don't you think they would have interlocks that the propane must be off before starting.
When I was in Oregon and tried to pump my own diesel I got screamed at by a professional fuel dispenser. This professional took over, when the tank was getting near full I mentioned that they might want to slow the delivery rate. I was told they know what they knew what they were doing. Well as those of you with diesel rigs know diesel foams badly when pumped full blast. Well my professional fuel dispenser got about 1/2 gal on them and the ground.
Just so you know I travel with my propane on, the refrigerator, water heater and if needed the furnace.
