Call Pullrite customer service and tell them exactly what truck and hitch you have. They will tell you what you need and where to acquire it. They are great people to work with. You may be able to get away with a universal mount kit but they would confirm this.

If you plan on mounting it yourself the template is worth the $$.
  • great i figure so...the hitch already fits the 5th..came w/from folks i bought 5th from...it came w/everything quick release pins/rails...no frame mounts...cant seem to find them..do ihave to buy a kit...previous owner had mounts that meet bottom of bed..he kept: (..
  • The hitch should work just fine. You'll need to buy the proper rails. Pullrite sells both in bed and under bed. The latter is more expensive but allows easy removal of hitch when you need a clean bed. You will also need a Pullrite capture plate for your particular 5'ers king pin. While they do have a universal weld on it is HIGHLY recommended to get the specific one for your king pin. It mounts with 1 single screw making it very easy to take on and off when needed.

I have a superglide on my SB Dodge and find it a very solid easy to use hitch.
