Does anyone have friction hinges on their camper?, we traded in our older TT and the new one has these hinges on the entrance door. I think the theory is to prevent the wind from grabbing the door. I think it is a bad thing, I really don't like fighting my camper door. Anyone else like these??

Hey! They're doing their part to fight global warming by cooling down your camp site. ๐Ÿ™‚

My kids just leave the door open, and let AC out.

I have it on mine, I don't have a problem with it and I certainly don't have to "fight" it. I push it, it closes. Other than you don't like it, I don't know why it would be a "bad" thing. It's just different.

I have it on ours and after nearly a year I don't really mind it. It keeps my kids from slamming the door shut and it is getting easier to close as times goes by.

not on a camper but I use them at work (automation design) they are a pain unless they are the adjustable type. if its the adjustable type just back it off until it dosent but you. (there will be a set screw pressing on the barrel if its adjustable)
