I need to tweak our Reese DC WDH by tilting the head angle down a notch or two and adjusting no. of chain links engaged. While in there, I want to lower the coupler an inch by changing hole locations in the shank and see if that makes an improvment.
We currently have the shank L-shape pointing up but if I flip it upside down, it looks like it will lower the coupler/ball by two inches. The head is bolted on the shank in the lowest position now. Is there another Reese shank that I need to use to accomplish this? The one we have now is the 15K lb #54970 as in the photo.
