That's certainly something to keep in mind, but my fridge doors have no wiring going to them, so I knew it wasn't an issue when I drilled to mount part of my low cost window latch system on the doors.

Back in my Trailer days.. I had a "Dorm" size fridge and just put a cargo strap around it.. When I got the Class A I sold it to another camper.

They make a assorted lock systems that will work nicely, even an old fashion hasp lock like you'd use to padlock a shed can be used. Some of 'em even have a hine so you mound the fixed part of the flipper on the side. and it then extends out to where it needs to fold to go over the hasp so you can put a snap lock or hairpin (Clutch pin) in it. to lock. then when you want to get in the fridge it folds flat against he wall out of the way (one hopes).

I have eyelets mounted on either side of fridge and freezer to which I attach bungee hooks. Eyelets similar to this, except mine are black to blend with cabinet color. I am not sure if they were added by previous owner or came from factory, but they work easily.

X2 on what Stickdog said. Velcro has worked great for us for 2 years

Notice the black felt piece of wood at the bottom of the door that locks the two doors and the freezer compartment...works like a charm!

This is what came on mine from the factory. Works great.

18 inches of heavy duty velcro french door handles are 6inches apart loop through them 6 inches bind them together. I use tension curtain rods to keep the stuff on the shelfs from moving around. Also freezer door can't open as the island prevents it and has a latch on the bottom.

This is what i use . Noticed most late model coaches come with this. Mine didn't so I upgraded as the one that came on my Whirlpool Residential didn't work very well !

we use the usual RV drawer locking mechanism for the fridge doors and a swivel 'lock' for freezer door. all likely would work as well as bungee cords in the event of a major incident...meaning all bets are off. but for the normal everyday driving they work well.
