I have decided that I need an auxiliary diesel fuel tank in my truck bed. The problem is with my tri-fold bed cover folded and the 5th wheel connected I would not be able to refill the tank with out un hitching. I wonder if there is a way to attach a pipe to the fill neck so I can add fuel if so what should I make it out of?

If the tank is new, never been filled.. Most anything is possible...

If it has been filled then precautions need to be taken, but .. Well... Most anything is possible still.

Look at a marine fuel inlet for a remote tank on a boat. You can find them at any boat dealer or online. Get the fill port and a vent, and the length of hose to reach.
