Well on a side note i disconnected the rv from shore power, turned the inverter off and disconnected the battery, then plugged everything back in. Right now it appears the fridge is back up and running.
Assuming it cools to regular aperating temp without issue, whats causing these problems? At the beginning of the season, our first trip out, the fridge wouldnt even turn on after being in storage. I believe i had to unplug everything as i just did. Seems to be a reset?
you disconnected from shore power, powered off the inverter (which should have powered down the fridge), disconnected the battery (one battery???) and then plugged everything back in (so the inverter is off and the battery out of the line, right). seems to me that there are several suspects...
- the single? battery is not enough to power the fridge.
- the single? battery IS enough to power the fridge but it is bad and should be replaced. has it been tested?
- the inverter is not working as it should (are other 120-VAC appliances working as properly off the inverter? TV, microwave, etc.)
