I understood the OP to have a S&B house toilet without a foot pedal.
He then installed an RV toilet with a foot pedal.
Our RV toilet with a foot pedal is procelein but I wouldn't call it a standard tanked residential toilet. It operates just like any RV all-plastic toilet.
OP - Could you clarify what you had originally?
