Just had my second Brite Lite wire combiner fail.

They seem to last about 5 years.

Does anyone recommend another brand combiner?

Well Sir,
First off, by the term "combiner", I'm assuming you mean a "Tail light converter", correct? If so, while it's not all that common for one to fail in that kind of time frame, it's also not out of the question either. And, not only that but, they're not that expensive either. Now, if you'd like to try another brand, try "Curt". You can find them in etrailer.com or lots of other places. I've used them for years and have yet, to have one fail.

I have used the same Brite Lite for many years.
What function has failed now and previously?
I would verify connections, especially the ground.
