Do any of you k ow a Mike Martin, from Mad River, Ca.? He also does metal detecting and paleontology.
Met him on the beach at Samoa Dunes, near the USS Milwaukee Memorial and has was kind enough to give me a band of metal he had just found on the beach, right where the wreck is. I have a buddy that will see what a great guy I am, when I give it to him.
