Route into Prescott, AZ from Florida
We will be traveling out west from Florida and stopping in Prescott, AZ in a 40ft class A, towing a Jeep. What is the best way to get into Prescott avoiding switchbacks and steep roads?

The above advice is good. The only route you do not want to take is 89A through Jerome and over Mingus mountain. Are you coming on I10 or I40? If I10 then come up through Phoenix and on AZ 69. There is a steep climb on 17 out of Black Canyon City but it is unavoidable. Just try not to do it on the weekend as there is a high probably of an accident on that stretch. If on I40 (which I am thinking is unlikely from Florida) I would agree that 89 at Ashfork is less steep than I17 but either way is doable.
