Horizontal drilling and fracking have absolutely nothing to do with the production of oil which is made into gas. The problems of fracking, little things like generating man made earthquakes and the pollution of fresh water supplies, are hardly worth the increase in production of natural gas.Natural gas is does not come from oil. Fracking supplies over 50% of the US's oil and over 65%of our natural gas. You use both every day. Please link to a single aquifer contaminated by the fracking of the 1.6 MILLION wells fracked in the last 65 year. The earthquakes you are talking about are from production water that comes up with the oil and is reinjected back into the deep strata a mile below any aquifer.
