From your use of the term hydro, I assume you are Canadian. Y'all have been net exporters of oil for a long time and now the US is a net exporter of oil. This is great for both countries. The Middle East still is affecting the price. Only two of the top 10 oil companies are American. Country owned dominate this group. I wish we had more hydro like you do. We haven't built a hydro plant in over 30 years and existing ones are throttled back due to enviro lawsuits. Your 9 cents per kw is great. We are at 13 which is about average for America except in the natural gas pipeline starved areas.
