I bought my Tiger online from the factory 11 years ago, had it delivered directly to my home, and have never been sorry.
Factory is East Coast, I am West Coast. I did go and look at someone's Tiger about 150 miles from me before the purchase. All contact with the factory was by phone, e-mail, and paper mail. A member of the build team drove it from the factory and spent half a day with me while I examined it and he answered any questions. There was one problem, and warranty work was performed by my local RV guy and paid for by the factory.
There was a fee for delivery service, but it was much less than the cost of taking off work, flying to the East Coast, and driving the vehicle home myself.

Did you buy it online or actually go to the dealer lot?

It's a Millennial thing, they're starting to buy their cars, that way. They figure they google it, look at pictures, order it and get it delivered, they buy a lot of stuff on line from Amazon.
