In a sense, the only time actually "spent" doing laundry is loading the washer, transferring to the dryer, folding and putting away the clothes. I don't count the time the machines are working as time spent doing laundry.
If you look at it my way, the time spent fooling with laundry with a built in machine vs the laundromat is nearly the same. The only difference is that we don't have to leave our home, can read, surf the web, watch TV, or do whatever else we can get away with in our RVs while waiting and, like you said, stay in our pajamas. Oh, and no need to leave the coach back and forth in inclement weather with a heavy load of laundry.
You said it all. Love my on board washer and dryer.
