Anyone know how long rv park reviews website usually takes to list a review someone made ? I did one three days ago for a park we stayed at and it's still not listed ?

Purely a guess. But my thinking would be that they are trying to prevent someone posting a single highly negative review without ever bothering to post positive reviews. Of course they could post multiple negative reviews but that might come under additional scrutiny also.
Or it may just be they want to see multiple entries to get an idea of the legitimacy of the reviews.

Thanks guys I will wait a few days and see what happens, what I find a bit stupid is I only camp once a year so why should the RV park I was giving a good review to have to wait until I camp three more times or years to get their review, kinda defeats the purpose if you ask me.

First post? See the rules as per BB TX above. Never had a problem either. Always confirmed within a few days. It is a non commercial site run by volunteers.

You also need to post at least 3 reviews before your reviews enter the approval stage. From their rules.

Have you posted at least 3 reviews?
I have had them show up within a day or two. And I have had them not show up for several days.

It's always good to read the directions..

From the RV Review website:

I posted a review, but I don't see it online, why not?
Reviews aren't instantly posted, we try to read, spell check, grammar correct your reviews, as well as remove people's names from them, if your reviews have too many problems, we may not approve it due to the time it takes to make these corrections. To ensure your review gets online, please read the rules, and post reviews that don't require corrections. You also need to post at least 3 reviews before your reviews enter the approval stage. Sometimes it may be 3 or 4 days between your posting a review and it making it through the approval process, but normally reviews are approved overnight. If we are behind, you can tell by looking that the review dates on the most recent reviews on our home page. If the majority of them are a few days in the past, then we are behind, sometimes a new review squeezes ahead of the others, so you might see one or two from the current date.

Hi,

This time of year there are often up to 300 reviews to be vetted. The admins donate their time to do this. They are out camping, too, so it can take up to a week before a review is accepted, inspected, corrected and posted.

I've had one go up within 48 hours.....and I had another (no joke) that took like a month. Thanks for posting a review, even though i try to take all CG reviews with a grain of salt, the "community" approach to that website is valuable for all RV'ers

Normally pretty quick. You might wish to contact them. There might be some content in your review that is giving them problems.

And if you didn't follow their style guidelines it could take a bit longer for the website owner to edit your report.
