Even with the snow falling and the temperatures hovering around -2C, we trekked to the first RV show of the season in our city. Lots of contests and whatnot to enter and the kids had a great time looking at other trailers.
There was only one vendor selling accessories, but I was able to get a decent deal on a tote tank 25G for $160, (They are normally over $200 around here) and a mini roller blind for the air vent directly above our master in the TT for $10. I also picked up a 30A/15A pigtail for $15. None of those are great deals if you figure in the $33 I spent in parking and admission, but it did give me an excuse to pick them up.
I even started what I expect will be a long campaign toward convincing my wife to winter in a Class C when we retire. That's not for another 15 or so years yet, but I figure I should plant the seed early.
๐Most importantly, it got me out of the winter blahs for an hour or so and allowed the whole family to get excited about getting out to enjoy the season as soon as it starts.
How long until May?
