Clam Quick-Set Escape screen tent

60 second one-man setup. Seriously!

Typical laborious tent assembly

The Clam screen tent is awesome! It really does set-up in about one minute. Best camping purchase I've made. Highly recommended, though not cheap.

Construction quality is excellent and fabric appears durable. Clam is the #1 supplier of ice fishing shelters, so they know their business. Optional side panels mount easily on exterior.

Note: Collapsed (storage) size is SIX feet by ~16 inches, ~40 lbs. So you need to consider where to store a six foot cylinder when not deployed.

Coleman looks like a nice option also!

I picked up a Coleman "Instant" screened canopy, 11'x11' at Costco a few years ago. It's about 90sec to set up, more to set up or take down, more to put in the bag. $80 IIRC.

My sister just bought a similar tent (perhaps the same) on Amazon for $60. Takes her less than 2 minutes to erect. If it wears out in a few years or blows away in a typical FL summer mid-afternoon thunderstorm, at least she didn't lose $300+

To the OP, that is a really nice tent and thanks for sharing.

My biggest issue is with their "comparison" set-up video. If the clam is so simple, then they shouldn't need to fake the other tent's set up to prove it. That sort of manipulation irks me major.
