The screws will strip out of the chip board that they are screwed into especially with the forces of people dropping into the chairs and pushing themselves out of them. When placing or replacing or tightening any screw that goes into the bottom of the slide (floor) make sure a visual is done outside to be sure the screw does not extend through the bottom of the floor. If the screw protrudes through the bottom it will do serious damage to the flooring it has to slide across when closing or opening.
