Unfortunately there are way to many stupid brain dead people that don't see it as the national emergency that it is. Thus putting all the intelligent people at risk.

Sorry nobody has had practice at containing a pandemic before this one. Perhaps some consideration of the effect of social distancing, mask wearing, and closing/limiting business may have had on the original modeling done 6 weeks ago is in order. But the whole point of my post was, that the governors relied on flawed info, then when they found out it was flawed instead of rethinkig their draconian measures, they doubled down.
