Show us your storage unit!

I always like looking at other peoples barns, shops, and other buildings where people store there toys. I know I looked at a lot of different ideas before I built our barn/shop. Maybe this thread can give ideas to others as well.

I live in a development with 1200 square foot limit on outbuildings so about 1/2 went to the rv garage and the other slightly bigger half went to my shop. Rv half is 16' x 36' (15' x 35' net inside) with a 12'W x 13' H door with a 30 amp rv outlet. I figure if it wont fit inside then its too big:) I want to insulate and line the inside of the rv garage yet in steel liner panels or sheet in osb and paint white someday.

  • We don't have room at the house so we rent a garage about 5 miles away. Expensive but it keeps the motorhome out of the Florida rain and sun.

  • It doesn't do anything for our yard but it sure protects the RV nicely.

  • Since downsizing our RV last year, we have some extra space in ours.

Here it is before we downsized.

  • I am to poor:( so I built my own, does keep the Vegas sun off my coach:C

Looks very nice! No storage building yet... I'm the HOA President and got our size limits increased to 1,500,which is conveniently the size that we want to build... perks of being in charge. But, I'm saving a photo of your building to show my husband.
