Slideout Issue

I have the hydraulic slideouts. Today I did some measuring and some "eyeballing". I can tell the slide is not coming in or going out evenly. The obvious guess is one side jumped a couple of teeth or so.

So what next? I have that danged coroplast underneath so that's got to be moved out of the way before I can access the motor or whatever it is that's the problem. Any suggestions of what to expect before I get in there?

Schwintek have separate switches for each slide.

They use two motors, one on each side of each individual slideout and they have to move in perfect synch, or the slideout will jam or bind up in the opening. There is a procedure that i heard on how to get the motors back in synch, but i dont remember where i read it. You can probably google it. If it isnt a lippert and it is hybraulic, check for leaks in the hydraulic lines leading from the pump to the hydraulic rams, only other kind of system i know of is a sort of rack and pinion system. My slideout system is made by power gear (lippert also owns that brand now) and it is a single motor connected to a shaft that runs 2 gears on two tracks under the slideout. But i havent heard of those going out of whack because its only one motor. UNLESS for some reason a gear jumped a tooth on one of the tracks. Anyways good luck
