Thanks! I couldn't make any sense of it. Maybe not the only one, judging from the variety of replies.:h

As far a snowbirding is. The only difference for me (I'm a Michigan Member) is that it's hard to find Michigan BC/BS "in plan" doctors in SC.

That said my plan is really administered. by BC/BS it is provided by State of Michigan BC/BS gets paid to handle the paperwork is all. State pays my bills.
ARE there better plans>
THere is no plan that I actually am 100% happy with
BC/BS is a non-profit per the charter but still loaned Chrysler millions back in the bailout days.. Kind of a lot of cash for a Non_Profit.

All the other companies are for profit. and thus they want to take more of your money than they pay out in benefits.. Still Some claim to be very good. I've not checked out those claims and thus am not listing names.

But have fun checking 'em out.

Sorry. She corrected me. First month is included in our annual plan. If we stay over 30 days then they charge us an extra $800.00
Did you leave out the part about being Canadian?
Well that would have been some useful information to have.

If the Rx is less than the price just pay out of pocket. Might check if this scrip is one the manufacture gives discounts to those that can't or aren't covered by other ins.
