I inadvertently turned my scare light on by accident in Ouray CO campground. It was lined up perfectly with the bedroom window of the camper next to me. I did not discover it was on until the next morning.
I went over to apologize when they were up. They were nice about it and said they just put a blanket over the window. They were on vacation from the Netherlands. I felt bad and invited them for Dinner, they brought a couple of bottles of wine. They even sent me a Christmas postcard. To this day I make sure no outside lights are on.
