Source of Macerator Pump for Trailer mounted Black Tank ?

If you have a septic dump close by why do you need a seperate tank? A mascerator pump is perfectly capable of pumping several inches up hill. You connect the pump directly to your dump outlet, connect a 3/4 inch garden hose to it, place the other end in the septic inlet, power the pump up, and open your dump valves. Mascerator pumps can be found at most any large RV parts store, or online either at Ebay or Amazon

I ordered the Flojet 18555-000A, Portable RV Waste Pump, 12 Volt DC, Macerator, Includes Carrying Case from AMAZON a few years ago...

I'm pretty sure you can mod this to work like you want. This one has the standard waste tank adapter and uses a 3/4-inch hose for waste output. I have used mine a couple of times to pump from my trailer up through a window and down the house batroom pot.

Normally I use this for filling a plastic waste tank sitting in the back of the truck and then driving to the dump site and emptying the portable waste tank using gravity feed...

I have used a 120V model on a kitchen sink hookup a few times.

I have never looked for an internal tank type macerator type pump...

Marine boat place suppliers probably have a model to use for what you talking about...

If the dump opening into the ground tank is made of plastic, would it not be simpler to simply take a hacksaw and shorten it to ground level. When/if your contract is over, it is easy to use a coupling to glue the pipe to the original height.

Couple inches? Drive up on blocks as needed.

........You are correct on all points ! I've spent the last 4 hours researching macerator pumps ! There are a multitude of small , 12vdc pumps between $100 and $200 that will pump into a garden hose and then into a septic drain . From numerous reviews I've read these small pumps , WILL NOT hold up over the long haul......the impellers break , screws rust quickly , etc.
........Jabsco makes a heavy duty macerator pump that runs off 115vac that will probably last but it runs ~$550 , depending ! The BEST choice is a Zoeller , 4\10's Hp , submersible , cast iron pump that sits in a 18" diameter x 30" tall plastic tank that will , for MY situation , have to be buried in the ground . When , I dump my tanks , it will turn ON and OFF automatically and pump into the septic drain pipe . This Zoeller system , already hooked up prior to shipment runs ~$389.95 ! This particular system will last years , but , it's not portable like the smaller , 12vdc pumps . , jf

..........I've seen and studied the Flowjet pump , but I just don't think it will standup to long term use ! , jf

...........The property owner won't let me , currently ! He took elevations with his laser level , before the 3 inch septic drain line was installed and he says the entry point cannot be lowered........his wife has a nose like a blood hound . She weighs 105 lbs , but exerts influence over him like a Sumo wrestler . , lol , jf

Around here, Lowes and Home Depot carry those, called sewage ejector pumps.

My 12 volt macerator is several years old and has held up very well . No problems . I use it once a week pumping 75 feet . I Have also used several of those "container pumps ", believe me they are not problem free !
