Here's to better days when we can all be good neighbors once again.
And speaking of good neighbors, you Canadians were fantastic hosts to my wife and I last fall. My only critique is that Ontario is too large to be on one single time zone and it was hard to get out of bed in the morning when the sun didn't rise until nearly 9:00 as we got closer to Thunder Bay. Just a small critique.
Here's a sweet Canadian memento that Nature left on our doorstep in Sault Ste. Marie. It was very Canadian of her. - crosscheckExplorer II

In New Zealand, they have got new cases down to zero. The have returned to life.
Italy, new cases are down 97% from their peak.
And for this discussion Canada is down 80% from peak. Meanwhile in US the number of cases is increasing at a increasing rate. Why should a country risk all the work they have done to protect their country when have the people in US, instead of picking up their gun and fighting the invading army, we invite them in for supper, make sure they have a nice bed to spend the night.
I usually fish in Ontario 6x a year. Not this year due to health & it being nonessential. Canada should not let we Americans in until we get under the curve. We need to shut it down and stay at home.
Ever considered a career in the White House?

You’re off by a couple of zero’s there neighbour.
The gov. published stats that said Canadians spent $6.5 BILLION on tourism in 2016 in JUST Florida. - steveh27Explorer

It's a scary time. I see that Australia is closing off the state of Victoria..6.6 million people, as of midnight Tuesday, using the military.
I have friends in the US and I fear for them...for all of you. A vaccination may not be found as early as we'd all like.
It matters not what I think about travel across state lines. But...I hope that if you are making a trek, that you do it with extreme caution.
No one wants this virus and there have been enough 'Come to Jesus' moments by now, that even the non-believers have to be thinking....'maybe I spoke too soon'. But..people will do what they do.

There are plenty of sightseeing places in the 48. Go see what’s in your own country. Canada will open soon enough.
Are Canadians still regularly doing their shopping in the US?
Not here in western Washington, I was up at the Lynden wa and Blaine wa border crossing last week and it was dead. Only commercial trucks going back and forth, Blaines main street had three cars parked with most of the business closed, it looked like a ghost town. - free_radicalExplorer

I thought all borders were bad and evil?
Maybe that left in 2015? Or maybe that was just coming into the US?
