Hello!This has not happened to me. Yet. Just a what-if question. If I got stuck for a couple of hours on the interstate behind a major traffic accident and somebody comes up and asks to use my trailer's bathroom, do I allow it, or tell them No? What if it's a pregnant lady or a mother with a little kid? I don't want strangers messing with my stuff, but I also don't want to be a jerk and say No if the wife and I have been in and out of the trailer getting drinks and using the facilities and the people around us have seen us doing it.Has this happened to anybody? What did you do? Would you do it the same again?Thanks,Kirk

This is a tough question. In some parts of the country I might. Here in Northern California, I would have to really analyze the situation. Same answer as to stopping to help people. I know that I should help people, but I also have the family to think about. JMO

Back then you didn't have to worry about things as they apply today...I'm a transplant recipient so I'm a little more sympathetic, but these days you never know.If I won't welcome you into my house, as a known entity, I won't welcome you into my AF.

Kirk,While I conceptually understand your sense of humanity, that doesn't make the situation you describe match reality. In the situation you describe, a person on the freeway always has the choice of publicly relieving themselves. Not having the use of a bathroom is not a life or death situation. For health and safety reasons my answer is NO! My RV is not a public restroom. It is not uncommon to see signs "THERE IS NO PUBLIC RESTROOM". And I don't feel obligated to explain my reasons.

Stuck on frwy due to accident ahead. Let others use toilet?

By looking at the posts it appears there are different opinions on what one would do, perhaps the OP was just looking for a consensus on the question. I discussed it with my with and we came to a decision between us. Lighten up it's really not a big deal to ask a question without condemning responses by you 2.:h
