Subaru Forester

Question

Picked up my brand new Subaru Forester today and have begun the process of getting it ready to tow. A question for those of you who tow a '14 or '15 Forester....what did you do for your brake and tail lights? Did you add an additional bulb to the light assemblies, if so, where did you put the new bulb? Or, did you use diodes and use the existing lights? Any help at this point would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Mine is a '10, but I used diodes and a Ready Brute Elite tow bar with the surge brake built in. If you already have a tow bar, you can use the Ready Brake with any receiver mounted tow bar. They also make a version for tow bars that hook to a ball. Be sure to get the breakaway switch.
