Hello,

Has anyone ever for the Sun N Fun RV Resort in Sarasota, Florida? We are contemplating working the winter 2014-2015 season there. And does anyone know of a website where workampers might share their experiences with particular campgrounds? Thanks.

You made a wise choice. They expect a lot from the workcampers. The available sites for workers are the least nicest. I worked more than a 40 hour week. The parks focus is to give a great experience to well off snowbirds. It's an extremely large park in a busy unattractive area (my opinion).

We turned down the offer. 40 hours a week PLUS pay reduced site rent (about $500. monthly) and NO discounts on anything except food. Wifi undependable. We had a "not so great" experience with a mega park in Virginia last year. We may be done with huge parks/campgrounds. I don't really want to work full time hours in this, my semi retirement.

I'm wondering why no one has replied to this post. We worked there one year. It was a bad experience.
