Sway Control Ball

Had both Reese sway control and one from Harbor Fright installed on our 31.5' TT at the same time. Found using two sway control units works better for me. The only thing I would suggest is not to use the screws that come with the Harbor Fright unit. They are made from a pot metal material and not very strong. Two to the Harbor Fright screws stripped out just trying to install them to the TT. Otherwise the sway control unit works great.

Just head to your local harbor freight and buy a sway control from them. Very low cost ($29.00...and you can use a 20% Hf coupon if you google it) and works just as well. They will have the ball mount and screws you will need.

I have a ProSeries sway bar and a Haul Master (Harbor freight) Sway Bar and other than the label I can’t tell the difference.

Plus, an extra sway bar is not a bad thing to keep in the spare parts bin in the trailer.

On edit, I misread your OP. Yes the Curt will work fine. I have mixed and matched parts. I really suspect that these things are all made in the same factory. I have had ProSeries, Husky, and now HaulMaster and I can’t tell a stitch difference except for the stickers.
