I did a Google search for `recliner repair near me'.

Look for an upholstery shop in your area.

My local furniture store repaired my swivel rocker. A spring in the seat needed replacing and some fabric work to repair a tear. It's a family owned store, not a chain and I'd never have guessed they were big enough to do this sort of thing. I discovered when I went in to look at new chairs to replace this one. Saved me a bunch of money!

Truth in telling... I got a little frustrated with the handle to release the recline mechanism... gave it whack, broke it. That having been said, the right arm rest is also "noodlin'", and my southside seems to have fatique'd the seat cushion. :o Other then that, everything is perfect.:B

I guess the fact that the recliner has "RV" in the name led me to believe a typical furniture guy would be out of their league. Silly me.
