Hey all. Im fixing up my new to me tt on the cheap. it has no potable water tank or pump but the gray and black plumbing/tanks is fine. I am not interested in installing a large tank and pump (I like the storage that has been created) instead I picked up 2 small battery operated pumps like this http://www.princessauto.com/en/detail/battery-operated-pump/A-p8555765e I am looking for 2 'tanks' to put these into. was thinking culligan type bottles at first but thinking about it more im thinking id like a screw on cap for transporting it. any suggestions for something on the cheap?

Horse Trailer Products Websites or look up a local horse trailer dealer in your area and ask to see a catalog.

Quality products and NO RV inflated prices for anything you need for a TV, TT, FW or LQ.

They make triangular corner water tanks that don't take up a lot of room AND they make lay down tanks for pickups too.

Look up horse trailer supplies. Horse people have a plethora of products available to them for carrying water on board in their trucks, TT's and LQ's. They will have all the different pump set ups also along with gravity feed.

18,25,39 gallon tanks etc. We do a lot of venues without water where we have to bring our own water!

Can't beat 7 gal Aquatainers ... inexpensive, made of food grade plastic, large screw cap with tap, screw on vent cap, and cube shaped so they store easily. I carry four in the back of my Avalanche whenever we're camping and use 'em to collect potable water as I need it and later pump it into the trailer's FW tank.

When we had our popup, I used two of the 5 gallon "bladders". They didn't take up any room when empty, but held enough water for us for 3-4 days.

The small pop up had used a standard 5 gal water can. It had a "special cap" that was basically a regular screw on cap that had been drilled out and a rubber grommet put in it that the water hose went through. I'm sure one of the standard blue 5 gal water containers could easily be modified the same way.

I don't think those pumps are approved for potable water.
