We were not allowed to climb on the roof at the PDI - "due to liability issues."
I understand the liability issues but, if I could not inspect the roof I would have walked away from the deal.
It would have been a red flag for me.
Did you post this on RV Service Reviews?
I agree. Any shop working on tall vehicles is bound to have a rolling ladder. Especially those whose customers might want to inspect the roof.
I got lucky. When we purchased our TT, it was the first new one through a dealer. I did not inspect the roof, but had no problems. The dealer did a thorough pdi with me other than that.
Thanks for the link to the reviews! Understanding they may be biased, as a lot of folks don't post reviews unless they're having problems, I just posted a very positive review for the dealer, as I did have some work performed there.
