Things I have learned from these forums

Another thread got me thinking about all the important things I have learned from these forums that I otherwise never would have believed.
Here is a short list, feel free to pile on.

Dogs left in an RV NEVER bark.
Dog waste is completely sterile and clean
Tires made in China are specifically manufactured to kill the user
No matter what the price, the rent for an RV site is too high
Good Sam Roadside Assistance will never respond to a call
Camping World has never had a customer they didn't rip off
No matter what the price, you could have bought a better RV for Less
If you don't pay cash for your RV, you are a poor money manager
If a park enforces their rules, they are rule Nazis
There is no dog waste in parks because all owners pick it up
All tow vehicles are overloaded when their RV is attached
It's not camping if you don't have a fire
All campfires are nothing but smoky messes
If you drive faster than 20 MPH under the speed limit you aren't
smelling the roses

Never rinse holding tanks at the dump station.
My diesel never passes a repair shop.
Keeping up with traffic is ridiculous, always putt along.
Campground rules always make sense and are equitably enforced

That I apparently don't spend enough time at the dump station. I did not know you were supposed to rinse your black tank 3 times after every camping trip.

Rather than spend $10 and 30 minutes to fix your cheap fan vent/Manatek converter/old microwave oven, you should spend $150 and a couple hours to upgrade to a fantastic fan/PD converter/convection oven...even if the old one is adequate for your needs.

More observations learned from reading these forums:

• You need a 1 ton diesel dually to tow a pop-up.
• You can tow a 42 foot fifth wheel in the mountains safely with an F-150 egoboost.
• No matter what you post, 1/3 of the replies will be from people who think you're an idiot
• No matter what you post, 1/3 of the replies will be from people who think you're a genius.
• No matter what you post, 1/3 of the replies will be admonishing you to use the search function before posting next time.
