The only thing that we pay for is our State tags, or license. That is $ 99.00 for a one year period, and this is based on your vehicles weight caring capacity. Our town charges $ 35 dollars for a vehicle sticker. and these fees are also based on your vehicle's class rating. A, B plate being the lowest class at 10,000 LBS. No State fees are charged for emission testing, but having a Diesel truck, no testing is required, only the car is every 2 years. So our fees are based on your trucks GVW carrying capacity, not what it is worth, thus a NEW truck will pay the same as I do for my 14 year old truck.
