Time to restring day/night window shades
We are unable to find our old diagram drawings showing exactly how to restring our day/night rv blinds. Seems I once ordered a kit - from (I can not recall where) which also came with a plan drawing ...

A restring kit also has instructions, but if you can locate the the correct weight fishing line or buy just the line, its much cheaper.
Some tips: using thin CA ( Krazy) glue, Glue the grommets in place. As someone else mentioned, the reason the string breaks is because the grommet is out of place and the string is rubbing on bare metal. Second, when threading the string, harden the first couple inches with the CA glue. Makes the string stiff and easy to thread, cut off when finished.
