Tioga George Calls It Quits

I saw a posting today from Tioga George that he is calling it quits.

I respect anyone's rights to quit, retire, whatever. I have followed George on daily basis for close to 10 years.

However I am worried about him. Lately he's flipped from the original TiogaGeorge (which was fantastic) to his ChallengeTruth Blog, to his latest, and apparently last, TiogaGeorge2.

George was a great guy to follow and IMHO he blazed the trail and led the way for a lot of people to get into fulltiming that didn't think they could do it.

I'm just worried that over the last few years George is losing it. His followers know about his family struggles the last couple of years, which are awful and I wouldn't want to go through or see anyone else go through, but it seems like lately he's lost it. Bless his heart.

George, I hope you find peace and happiness. You've been through a lot. Best wishes to you.

Having said that, George, please get some help.

I'm glad that George has started his blog again although he's not posting everyday. I see he has bought a white Honda Fit to drive around. Interesting to see what happens in the future.

The main thing is for him to get his health back.

I had 4X bypass in '95 and never stopped Rving so there is hope for George. We miss his posting.
Upgrade RV's, think smaller for less setup problems and enjoy the road once more George.

Seems his RV was totaled in a crash, due to Georges heart. He had to have heart surgery and is recovering. He seems to have given up on RV'ing (at least for the moment). For the last 10 years or so I've always thought of him as Tioga George. It's going to be hard to think of him as just George.
