toilet problem

When we flush the toilet we get a gas bubble as soon as the toilet is flushed. Could this mean the air vent tube is clogged? I checked the opening on the roof and it looks clear. Appreciate thoughts. THX
  • Some manufactures use a soft rubber fitting on the top of the tank for the vent tube that goes to the roof.
If that vent tube is pushed too far into the rubber fitting, it then protrudes into the tank too far and when the liquid level in the tank meets that vent tube, you have a vent blockage. This scenario may be your issue.
  • search up poop pyramid and see if that may apply. An easy fix if it does.
  • Ours bubbles when the tank is almost full.

More accurate than the gauge panel.
  • Take the cap off the vent pipe and shove a garden hose or a long stick down the vent pipe to check for blockage. :)
  • The air vent is blocked or the tank is about full.
