We have reservations at the Tombstone RV park for two days next week. Any recommendations on places to eat and must see attractions? Places or things to avoid?
Bisbee {just 25 miles southeast of Tombstone} is a must see, allow a couple of hours to wander around town and definitely go through the Mining Museum {right downtown}. Lots of restaurants to choose from all over town and they all looked good {but we packed our lunch} so I don't have a specific recommendation. Big Nose Kate's Saloon in the middle of Tombstone is a fun place to stop and the food is surprisingly good.
The weather is warming up nicely as spring has arrived, remember that the RV Park keeps their pool at a delightful; 85 degrees... don't forget your swimsuits. I recommend the washing machine drum fire rings they provide, for $7 it comes full of wood. Ask for a site on the west half of the park as you will be farther from the highway and road noise. enjoy!
