Chief says several campers over turned and power lines down in Jellystone CG. Tornado touch down causing damage in CG.
No pictures yet.
This is a VERY popular CG. Really the only one in this particular area and is always packed full. Close to my home town.

Hope our fellow RV'ers at that CG are all ok.

Tornado damage last night started 3 miles NE of our Broken Arrow house. The storm came over us as hail, wind and rain but turned tornadic just after it went over us. By the time sirens sounded the storm had passed us. Some people had little or no warning on this one, it spun up quick. Mostly messed up roofs and stuff. EF2.

Sure glad no one was injured. We are looking at more thunderstorms tonight here in Wisconsin. Hopefully no tornadoes, we are headed to a campground in a few hours. The kids won't sleep if I tell this story.

I was watching all those storms coming up from the SOUTH WEST yesterday. Many Tornadoes were also reported in the South East corner of Arkansas as well...

The WX Channel guys were very concerned at some the cloud formations and rotations in the upper clouds over Oklahoma but nothing made it to the ground it seems. They were claiming the really cold rain being produced probably saved the day by putting "out" the real big wind rotating clouds.

They are already reporting for everyone to keep a watchful eye this afternoon and early evening when it brews up again today over the same path out of Oklahoma....

Saw the coverage from Madison's channel 3 news. Thankfully nobody was hurt. Another good reason to ask where the storm shelters are when checking in no matter what the weather is like. Conditions can change so fast.
